Congratulations to our Lead Caseworker, Miss Markham who helped Rock FM presenters Gemma Atkinson and Mike Toolan raise money for the Cash for Kids Day by climbing Blackpool Tower as part of their 5k a Day in May challenge.

Pictured above with Latoya from the Aiming Higher charity, the trio ascended the world famous landmark on Friday afternoon and posed for photos at the top of the Tower as proof of their achievement.

A very windswept Miss Markham said: "It's a tiring and breezy way to raise money and awareness for this charity, but worth it. All donations go towards helping local families struggling to make ends meet in these challenging times."

Cash for Kids has helped support Aspire students in various ways, such as with the costs towards revision packs for some of our Year 11's, revision guides, reducing the cost of hoodies for Year 11, student 'well being' packs, sanitary products to help end period poverty and help with the cost of uniform to name just a few. Also providing chocolate Easter eggs and Christmas selection boxes for students at those times of the year when families need support the most.
