Aspire students visited Blackpool Pleasure Beach on Wednesday in order to attend a careers fair.

The event, held by the Blackpool Guidance Community Network, was arranged to help students think about their futures and map their career paths.

The convention was divided into different zones, each representing a different sector of learning and employment.

The zones included activities designed to get the pupils talking, with each group of students spending around 30 minutes in each sector to learn about all their options.

The careers fair gave students the chance to talk to employers about pursuing careers in many areas from the Armed Forces to the NHS, and to learn about the benefits of studying for an apprenticeship, or to find out more about college courses.
