Well done to our Year 11 team who completed their Duke of Edinburgh practice expedition session this weekend around Beacon Fell in preparation for the real thing; practice expeditions are needed to see if the training the students have undertaken is sufficient to enable them to proceed to the qualifying expedition safely.
Miss Plancke was pleased to report: "Well done to all for a fantastic effort. It was a pleasure to work with such great students.
"Thanks must also go to Mr Tock for putting up with us all day and to Mr and Mrs Woods for meeting with us on top of Beacon Fell for a spot of lunch and treats!"
