Students here at Aspire Academy have attained a hugely impressive set of GCSE results this year. We are so pleased for all of our Year 11 students whose hard work and effort over their courses has been justly rewarded and we celebrate every success whether it was the hard work and determination to get the top 9 grade or whether it was the grit and resilience needed to get a grade 4. This GCSE cohort deserve all the praise and commendation for the effort they have continued to put in during such an uncertain and turbulent time for them. They have worked so hard during remote learning as well as in our school classrooms.

Mr Woods, Headteacher said: ‘I am so proud of our Year 11 students. Despite the increasing challenges placed upon them during their GCSE courses, they have risen to them admirably and secured success, not only in their academic attainment, but also in themselves as individuals. Students have worked enthusiastically with our amazing staff, who have also risen to every challenge put in front of them, working with positivity, hard work and determination to ensure every opportunity for success. No other GCSE cohorts have needed to deal with such significant changes in such short spaces of time; these students have developed their courage, determination, independence and hard work and this will serve them well in their futures. The outstanding results they have achieved are so well deserved and we wish them every success in their next steps.’

The Aspire Academy community wishes our Year 11 students all the very best in their future.
