Monday, 19th April sees the start of our Kindness Matters 30 Day Challenge here at Aspire Academy with the help of The Kindness Coach, Mr John Magee.
The challenge is a uniquely tailored eLearning programme created to give Aspire students and staff all the resources needed to transform our school by cultivating kindness in the classroom.
This will begin on Monday with John delivering a one-hour session to each of our year groups explaining about the challenge and the benefits it can bring to the students and those around them.
The familiar expression “it is better to give than to receive”, is backed up by research showing that people who are kind and compassionate see clear benefits to their wellbeing and happiness and that kindness can also help reduce stress and improve our emotional wellbeing.*
If, as a community, we take the time to be kind to other people, we can reap the emotional dividends and can really make a difference, especially for people who are vulnerable or struggling.
John Magee is a certified Life Coach, hypnotherapist and professional speaker, amongst other things and is currently working with other FCAT schools on their individual Kindness Matters 30 Day Challenges. You can find out more about The Kindness Coach and his work by clicking this link.
