Year 8 and 10 students Lucy-Mae and Chloe performed in the Blackpool Music Service Pop Idol singing competition on Tuesday night. Lucy-Mae performed ‘You are the reason’ and Chloe performed ‘Something’s Gotta hold on me’ and both gave stunning performances. Lucy-Mae walked away with the best in Key Stage 3 Category and was awarded a trophy. Chloe was not placed but sung with enthusiasm and energy and was truly fantastic. They will receive certificates from Blackpool Music Service for their hard work.

Miss Mackay was thrilled with Lucy-Mae and Chloe’s professionalism, “The girls were wonderful in their presentation and stage presence, and I couldn’t be more proud.”
