Aspire is taking part in a number of workshops to celebrate this year's International Women's Day on 8th March.

International Women's Day celebrates women's achievements, raises awareness against bias, and empowers women to take action for equality.

We've already had two role models visit us giving inspirational talks about how they've managed to be successful in their respective fields; Gemma Walker, Operations Director for HeliSpeed Ltd, and Paula Davies, Radio Wave's Station Director.

A group of students, along with Miss Adereti, will be visiting Blackpool Sixth form on Saturday, 9th March for more workshops and will also have to create a report on all their experiences.

Miss Adereti is pictured above with Gemma Walker, and a group shot below with Aspire students.
