On Wednesday 8th July we held our 2015 Summer Showcase in the hall at Aspire. The show featured students from all year groups including Year 11 students who came back especially for the show. Amongst the acts were singers, dancers, the Gospel Choir, comedy sketches featuring Sean Bullough and Freddie Eaves and even a few staff cameos!

Amongst the highlights were performances by both BTEC Music and Performing Arts Students who performed material featured in their final performance units, a massed choir of year sevens who sang “When I grow Up” from the musical Matilda and dance numbers from the Aspire Dance group. Also on the bill were special guests the Marmosets, a group started 5 years ago at Bispham High who have continued to be involved in performances at Aspire despite the last student having left in September 14. This was there very last performance before the majority of the members left for university.

Many thanks to all of the students and staff who either performed or helped behind the scenes with this year’s production.
