Last week Asipre students attended the Oracy Symposium hosted by Blackpool Grand Theatre, a fantastic opportunity for young people to step out of their comfort zone and learn about the power of their voice. Students had an opportunity to follow three different workshops focusing on, drama and oracy, debating and how to use their own voices in real life situations.

In one of the sessions students had to deliver their ideas on the novel Lord Of The Flies, giving them the opportunity to perform their debates on the theatre stage, which the students relished.

Feedback from staff at the event was nothing short of brilliant and they were blown away at the work and ideas our students delivered in these sessions.
