Blackpool Aspire Academy's Darts Club has maintained a high level of interest over this half term and will continue after the Easter holidays every Wednesday in the community area of the sports hall.
The world renowned Jack "Hot Toddy" Todd has been present every week and said, "The students have been so engaged and demonstrating such pure enjoyment in the sport that it's encouraged me to gain a darts coaching badge so I can also coach the next generation of Hot Toddy's." Staff members have also been asked to feel free to join the club and challenge students to a game.
Mr Brown, who runs the after-school club, is currently in talks with Fleetwood Town Community Trust, who host their own darts clubs at various Lancashire schools, with the hope of organising some form of competition.
