Forty students had the opportunity to travel to and visit Paris, and what an opportunity this was for them. From their first time travelling onboard the Eurotunnel and the ferry, or driving on the other side of the road, to tasting various French food and visiting historical buildings, our students experienced a different culture, attitude and traditions.
The whole continental breakfast, petits pains and croissants were a hit every morning. The students visited Montmartre hill and the 'marche de la rue Mouffetard', discovered Renaissance streets and were so respectful once in the main basilica, they were a credit to the academy. They then saw the Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower and took part in the river cruise around Notre Dame cathedral and the Invalids, visited the Louvre museum and the Palace of Versailles, had two lunches at Flunch restaurants and buffets at the hotel in Marne la Vallee in the evenings.
Overall, it was once again a very successful trip, where our students did Aspire Academy proud. Compliments from the driver, the manager of the hotel and the restaurants on how well behaved and respectful they were. A lot of memories made I'm sure.
