Today Aspire Academy says a fond farewell to Ms Adereti who is leaving us after 23 years of service.
But she isn’t moving too far as she will be starting her new role as School and Home Liaison Support Officer right next door at Highfurlong School in the new half term.
Originally joining Greenlands High School for Girls in 1999, she was a part of the journey that saw it change into Bispham High School and eventually the merger with Collegiate High School to become Blackpool Aspire Academy, and over the years as a Caseworker Ms Adereti has helped many students through difficult times by liaising with parents, teachers, and outside agencies and the challenges that brings on a daily basis.
She has also been our champion on everything LGBTQ+ helping our student-run Diversity Team bring understanding to Aspire and the community regarding inclusivity, embracing difference and generally making the world a better place to be.
We wish Ms Adereti all the best in her new role from all at Aspire:
