Many thanks to our 25 students who joined us for the NextGen NHS workshop this morning. The workshop was an informative insight workshop designed in partnership with the NHS England and their Improvement team, aimed at encouraging more students to consider a career in nursing and other health services. Our students had the opportunity to find out about a wide range of different career routes into nursing and health services, including which A levels, BTEC or apprenticeship qualifications to go for over the next few years.

Many thanks to Dave Tylley, adult nurse; Kenny Gibson, Head of Safeguarding, NHS; Dame Ruth May and Thomas Challacombe Head of NHS nursing education for providing our students with key knowledge and advice from a range of different perspectives within the nursing and health sector and answering a myriad of questions along the way, it was greatly appreciated.
