Congratulations to our two Year 9 technology teams who entered the annual Rotary BAE systems Technology Tournament recently.
Pictured above are the teams who consisted of the following:
Team 1: Ruby-Leigh, Charlotte, Josh and Alfie
Team 2: Kacy, Jakub, Kirstyn and Alan
Mr Barnhurst accompanied the students who conducted themselves exceptionally throughout the day and were a real credit to Aspire. Both teams worked industriously and came up with a fantastic solution for their given scenario-based challenge. Team 1 won the KS3 competition against schools such as Baines, AKS, St Bedes and St Annes Grammar, which is a brilliant result.
The winning trophy and placard will be on display in our reception as soon as our school name has been engraved upon it.
