Blackpool Aspire Academy has once again been invited to take part in a third programme of creative writing sessions with the National Teen Book Club.
The students will read a new novel called Wranglestone by Darren Charlton, work on a piece of creative writing that is published in the National Teen Book Club’s Virtual Library and attend four weekly sessions where they will hear from award-winning authors, publishers and illustrators.
The programme this half term is as follows:
- 9th March: introduction
- 16th March: session led by Rebecca Henry, author and librarian
- 23rd March: session led by Cassie Chadderton, Chief executive, World Book Day and chair of Culture Central
- 30th March; session led by Darren Charlton
