Aspire Academy hosted their annual Christmas show - this year titled Christmas Wrapped Up - to a socially distanced, but very enthusiastic crowd last night in our main hall.
Pzazz, Aspire's performing arts company, and many of the music students produced a very professional showcase and with very limited rehearsal time, mainly taking place during the day.
Miss Mackay was full of praise for the production: "Our students performed the BEST socially distanced show ever! They were stylish, well rehearsed and just fantastic, I’m so proud. As an example, Year 10 Jaiden has never worked backstage before and he was just brilliant!"
Aspire Academy is the only FCAT school to put on a Christmas show this year and was filmed by the very talented Mr Moore who has five different sets of camera footage to edit and splice together, and that was only one of his jobs in the backstage production area; we hope to see the finished result launched on our YouTube channel in the very near future.
Miss Mackay also added: "I’d like to thank Miss Bamber, Miss Eastwood and Mr Moore for being the best team under such difficult circumstances."
Below are a small selection from the show, but you can see the full set from rehearsals and the final production in our gallery by clicking here.
