**What qualification will I get?**

GCSE Mathematics.

**How will I be assessed?**

During each unit of work students will complete classwork and homework that will be marked to enable students to make as much progress as possible, at the end of each unit of work all students will complete a short assessment. Four times a year students will sit formal assessments covering the full range of topics covered and from this an overall Current Level / Grade will be awarded.

Currently year 11 pupils sitting the exam 2016 will sit two exam papers.

Currently year 10 pupils sitting the exam 2017 will sit three exam papers. Two calculators and one non-calculator exam.

**What can this course lead to?**

A Level Mathematics, A Level Further Mathematics, AS Level Use of Mathematics, Level 3 Core Mathematics, any A Level / Level 3 BTEC which require numerical skills.
